Who built the app

DartBud was built by Kenneth Andreas Hansen, Jonas El H'Babi Helling, Kristian Martin Tvenning and Lucas Leon Svaet Holter.

If you play as a guest

We collect nothing at all. Player profiles, matches and statistics are stored only on your device, and are never sent to us or to any third party. Uninstall the app and the data goes with it.

If you sign in with Google

We store your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account, so we know who the data belongs to. We also store your match history: average, highest score, darts thrown, rounds played and the result of each match.

This is kept in Google Firebase Firestore and is available only to your own account. The database security rules give each user access strictly to their own area. No one else can read your data.

Why we collect it

Your account details identify you as a user. Your match history is used to show your own statistics and progress, and to carry it with you if you change device. We collect no more than the app needs in order to work, in line with the data minimisation principle in GDPR Article 5.

Third parties

The app uses three Google services: Firebase Authentication for sign-in, Firebase Firestore for storage, and Firebase Analytics for anonymous usage statistics. These are governed by Google's privacy policy. We do not sell, rent out or share your data with anyone beyond this.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account directly in the app. This removes both your player profiles and your match history, in the cloud and on the device, and closes the sign-in account itself. The action cannot be undone.

If you would rather we did it for you, email kenneth@lilitlabs.com from the address you registered with. We delete within 30 days and confirm once it is done.

You also have the right to access and correct the data we hold about you, and to withdraw your consent.

Security

All communication with Firebase runs over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and the database is locked down so each user reaches only their own data.

Children

DartBud is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when needed. Significant changes will be announced in the app, and the date below shows when it was last revised.
